Objectives

 

  Upon completion of this tutorial, the learner will be able to:

  1. Describe literacy skills of populations across the United States.

  2. Identify tools that can help identify the reading ability of a target population.

  3. Assess the literacy level of a document.

  4. Modify the document in order to make it more appropriate for the target population.

  5. Make document revisions as appropriate using the RU Reaching Them Checklist.
