

Readability is based on the required grade level needed to understand a document.
Readability tests only measure the structural aspects of the sentence such as vocabulary and length of sentence.
Readability tests do not measure other related factors, such as conceptual difficulty and content.
There are various methods to evaluate the reading level of a passage. The SMOG formula is provided as an example.
